About me:

I was born and raised in the Bronx, New York. While commanding a US Army Air Cavalry Troop overseas in 1999, I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS). Now medically retired, I live in Portland, Oregon, with my daughter, devoting much of my time and energy towards overcoming the challenges of my own MS so that I can fight for others. Writing and blogging for the Department of Veterans Affairs, the National MS Society, and NEVER STOP NEVER QUIT expand my fundraising and advocacy in this fight. With six works currently published, I have many more in the works.
